CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left the army barracks, where he had been staying under military protection since September 9 amid the Gen-Z protests.

Security sources confirmed that Oli has now shifted to Gundu, Bhaktapur, where a rented house has been arranged for him. His residence in Balkot was torched by protesters during the demonstrations, forcing the relocation.

UML member Mahesh Basnet facilitated Oli’s move and has announced plans to organize a grand public event to formally present the former Prime Minister.
