Foreign Exchange Update: USD, Kuwaiti & Bahraini Dinars Rise; Euro, Pound, AUD Dip

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign currency exchange rates for today, Thursday. The rates show that some currencies have gained in value, while others have declined. The US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar have all appreciated compared to yesterday. For instance, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased to NPR 138.07 from NPR 137.69, and the selling rate has risen to NPR 138.69 from NPR 138.29. On the other hand, currencies like the euro, British pound, and Australian dollar have weakened. The euro’s buying rate has dropped to NPR 158.37 from NPR 159.29, and the selling rate to NPR 159.42 from NPR 159.99. Similarly, the British pound and Australian dollar have seen slight decreases in both buying and selling rates. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar and Bahraini dinar have shown slight increases, with the Kuwaiti dinar’s buying rate rising to NPR 450.75 and the Bahraini dinar’s to NPR 366.11.
