Foreign Currency Rates Rise Today: Nepal Rastra Bank

Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today, Tuesday. According to the bank, the value of most major foreign currencies—such as the US dollar, Australian dollar, euro, British pound, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar—has gone up compared to yesterday.

Today, the buying rate of 1 US dollar is 137 rupees 28 paisa, and the selling rate is 137 rupees 88 paisa. This is a rise from yesterday, when the buying rate was 136 rupees 99 paisa and the selling rate was 137 rupees 59 paisa.

Similarly, the euro is being bought at 160 rupees 56 paisa and sold at 161 rupees 26 paisa today. Yesterday, the rates were 160 rupees 14 paisa for buying and 160 rupees 84 paisa for selling.

The pound sterling is being bought at 185 rupees 15 paisa and sold at 185 rupees 96 paisa today, slightly higher than yesterday’s rates of 184 rupees 94 paisa and 185 rupees 75 paisa, respectively.

The Australian dollar has also increased slightly, with today’s buying rate at 90 rupees 19 paisa and the selling rate at 90 rupees 59 paisa. Yesterday, it was 90 rupees 14 paisa for buying and 90 rupees 53 paisa for selling.

Likewise, the buying rate of the Kuwaiti dinar today is 449 rupees 45 paisa, and the selling rate is 451 rupees 41 paisa, up from yesterday’s 448 rupees 12 paisa and 450 rupees 08 paisa.

The Bahraini dinar is also up today, with a buying rate of 364 rupees 15 paisa and a selling rate of 365 rupees 74 paisa. Yesterday, these rates were 363 rupees 38 paisa and 364 rupees 97 paisa.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to change if needed.
