Five Parliamentary Committees to Meet Today at Singha Durbar

Five committees in the Federal Parliament are meeting today at Singha Durbar.

The committees are: the Finance Committee, Women and Social Affairs Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee, and the Public Accounts Committee.

The Women and Social Affairs Committee will meet in the morning to present reports prepared by two subcommittees.

The Infrastructure Development Committee will meet at 8:30 am to discuss the Electricity Bill, 2080, and proposed changes to it.

The Finance Committee will meet at 11:00 am to consult experts and stakeholders about the First Amendment Bill on Banks and Financial Institutions, 2023.

The Public Accounts Committee will review the report from the Pokhara Regional International Airport Field Study Subcommittee.

Lastly, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee will meet at 2 pm to discuss a report on the School Education Bill, 2023.
