Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has stressed the need for stronger coordination and cooperation among political parties to guide the country toward long-term stability.

Speaking at an interaction program on Friday in the wake of the Gen-Z movement, Bhandari warned that Nepal’s persistent instability could create not only internal challenges but also international concerns. She emphasized that dialogue and collaboration among parties and groups with different ideologies were essential to finding solutions.

Criticizing the working style of political leaders, she noted that “leaders talk too much in public but fail to act within their parties.” She urged them to listen to people’s voices, understand their sentiments, and implement meaningful actions.

Highlighting the aspirations of the younger generation, Bhandari underlined the importance of recognizing and addressing their psychology, demands, and expectations. She further called for unity, peace, and stability as the foundation for building a nation suited to the needs of the times.
