Political activist Durga Prasai has ruled out any future collaboration with the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), accusing its leaders of dishonesty.

At a press conference held at his residence today, Prasai criticized RPP leaders Rajendra Lingden and Kamal Thapa, alleging that they have double standards. He claimed that both leaders had previously signed agreements supporting Nepal as a republic and a secular state but are now trying to restore the monarchy for their own political benefit.

Prasai further accused the RPP leaders of trying to involve him in their changing political agenda. He challenged them to resign from Parliament if they are truly serious about restoring the monarchy.

Expressing his frustration, Prasai firmly stated, “I will not shake hands with the RPP.” His remarks have added to the ongoing political debate about Nepal’s governance system and the role of the RPP in the movement for the restoration of monarchy.
