The ruling CPN-UML has said that recent efforts to create political instability in Nepal are losing strength.

At a party Secretariat meeting on Sunday at its central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur, UML leaders said Nepal is now moving toward greater political and policy stability.

Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali explained that movements trying to disrupt the system, such as those supporting the return of the monarchy are weakening. These monarchist protests had picked up pace since March but began to slow down, especially after a violent incident in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

Gyawali shared that the UML is now focusing all its efforts on becoming the strongest political party in the next election in 2084 BS.

The party also praised the current government's plans and policies, saying they are more focused and well-organized than before.

During the meeting, party officials suggested that the upcoming budget should be practical and aimed at real results. They recommended that the budget support key development projects, improve agricultural self-relianc0e and focus on increasing production and productivity. They also stressed that the budget should be prepared based on available resources.

The party also welcomed the government's recent agreements with protesting teachers and doctors, appreciating the peaceful resolutions.
