CPN-UML has convened its final Central Committee meeting at Bhrikutimandap before the closed-door session of its 11th National Convention, which will later elect a 251-member central committee using electronic voting.

Ahead of the start of the closed-door session of its 11th National General Convention, the CPN-UML has called its final Central Committee meeting.
The meeting will be held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, at 9 am, after which the closed session will begin. The party has decided that the entire Secretariat will act as the Presidium during the closed session. Separate committees led by Deputy General Secretaries Pradeep Gyawali and Prithvi Subba Gurung have been formed to prepare special proposals and record convention decisions.
The convention has 2,262 delegates and will elect a 251-member Central Committee, including key office-bearers, with plans to use electronic voting machines.
