The government has made public the decisions of the recent Cabinet meeting. On Wednesday, government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, shared the details during a press conference.
He informed that the decisions were from the Cabinet meeting held on Jestha 26 (June 9, 2025).
One of the key decisions was to approve the agenda for the 13th meeting of the Nepal-China Tibet (Xizang) Trade Facilitation Committee. This meeting will be held in Lhasa, Tibet, from Asar 2 to 6 (June 16 to 20, 2025). The Cabinet also decided to form a negotiation team led by a Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies to participate in the talks.
Similarly, the Cabinet approved the draft outline (principle approval) for a new bill to amend and combine existing laws related to construction businesses.
In total, the government made 11 decisions in that meeting.
