The Democratic Professors’ Association has called for strict action against those responsible for throwing ink on the election officer at Tri-Chandra Campus. On Monday, during a discussion about the Free Student Union (FSU) elections, Associate Professor Angatmani Gautam was targeted with black ink.

The association strongly condemned the act and urged authorities to take action. It is alleged that Sridhar Shrestha, a rebel candidate from the Nepal Student Union (NSU), and independent candidate Bibek Baniya were involved in the incident.

The FSU elections at Tri-Chandra Campus were scheduled for today, and voting has now been completed. The association has objected to the misconduct against election officer Gautam, calling it unacceptable.
