Twenty-four more people have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the violence that occurred during the March 28 demonstration in Tinkune, Kathmandu.
The spokesperson for the District Police Range Kathmandu, Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohara, confirmed that these individuals were arrested for their roles in the violent protest, which included setting fires and damaging property. The incident resulted in two deaths.
The arrests took place in different areas of Kathmandu. Before this, 41 people were detained for the same offenses, and they are still being investigated.
