Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday), showing that the US dollar has reached a new record level. According to NRB, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 145.09 and sold at Rs 145.69.
The European euro is being exchanged at Rs 168.59 for buying and Rs 169.29 for selling. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is bought at Rs 194.51 and sold at Rs 195.31, while the Swiss franc is bought at Rs 180.97 and sold at Rs 181.71.
The Australian dollar’s buying rate stands at Rs 97.32 and the selling rate at Rs 97.72. One Canadian dollar is bought at Rs 104.49 and sold at Rs 104.92. The Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 112.70 and sold at Rs 113.16.
For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate has been fixed at Rs 9.18 and the selling rate at Rs 9.21. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.82 and sold at Rs 20.90. Likewise, the Saudi Arabian riyal is exchanged at Rs 38.69 for buying and Rs 38.85 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is bought at Rs 39.83 and sold at Rs 40.00.
NRB has set the buying rate of the Thai baht at Rs 4.62 and the selling rate at Rs 4.64. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.50 and sold at Rs 39.67. The Malaysian ringgit’s buying rate is Rs 35.76 and the selling rate is Rs 35.91.
Similarly, 100 South Korean won are being bought at Rs 9.85 and sold at Rs 9.89. The Swedish krona is exchanged at Rs 15.74 for buying and Rs 15.81 for selling, while the Danish krone is bought at Rs 22.56 and sold at Rs 22.66.
The Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 18.60 and sold at Rs 18.68. One Kuwaiti dinar is exchanged at Rs 474.46 for buying and Rs 476.42 for selling. The Bahraini dinar’s buying rate is Rs 384.85 and the selling rate is Rs 386.44. Similarly, the Omani rial is being bought at Rs 376.87 and sold at Rs 378.43. Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
