Two Died While Filming TikTok Video.

A 23-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl tragically lost their lives after falling into a river while filming a TikTok video in Tehrathum.According to the police, the incident occurred while the two were filming near the riverbank.

On Saturday afternoon, Rabina Rajbanshi, a 23-year-old nurse from Gaukhuri Secondary School in Menchhyayem Rural Municipality-5, and Sushmita Bhattarai, a 13-year-old seventh-grade student from the same school, went to the nearby Khorangwa River to record a TikTok video.

While filming, they slipped and fell into the river. Kamal Sapkota, the school's Vice Principal, explained that the two had visited the river to enjoy their holiday when the accident occurred.The strong current swept them away after they slipped on the riverbank.Their bodies, carried downstream, were recovered later that evening.

Chinimaya Tamang, Chief of the District Police Office, confirmed that the bodies would be returned to their families on Sunday.
