Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today, setting the buying rate of one US dollar at Rs 146.13 and the selling rate at Rs 146.73. The European euro is being bought at Rs 173.41 and sold at Rs 174.12, while the UK pound sterling stands at Rs 200.33 for buying and Rs 201.15 for selling. The Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 188.45 and a selling rate of Rs 189.22.
Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 101.73 and sold at Rs 102.15, and the Canadian dollar at Rs 107.22 for buying and Rs 107.66 for selling. The Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 115.03 for buying and Rs 115.50 for selling. For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.44 and the selling rate is Rs 9.48, while the Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 21.05 and sold at Rs 21.13.
In the Middle East currencies, the Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 38.96 and sold at Rs 39.12, the Qatari riyal at Rs 40.10 for buying and Rs 40.26 for selling, and the UAE dirham at Rs 39.78 for buying and Rs 39.95 for selling. The Thai baht is fixed at Rs 4.63 for buying and Rs 4.65 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 37.07 and sold at Rs 37.22.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been set at Rs 10.10 and the selling rate at Rs 10.12. In Europe, the Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 16.47 and sold at Rs 16.55, and the Danish krone at Rs 23.22 for buying and Rs 23.31 for selling. The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 18.71 and a selling rate of Rs 18.79.
Among higher-value currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 478.64 and sold at Rs 480.61, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 387.61 for buying and Rs 389.20 for selling, and the Omani rial at Rs 379.58 for buying and Rs 381.14 for selling. Finally, the Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling per 100 Indian rupees.
