NRB Updates Today's Exchange Rates (July 17)

Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Thursday. According to the new rates, one US dollar is being bought at NPR 137.21 and sold at NPR 137.81. The euro is bought at NPR 159.31 and sold at NPR 160. The British pound is being bought at NPR 183.86 and sold at NPR 184.67, while the Swiss franc is bought at NPR 171.01 and sold at NPR 171.76.

The Australian dollar is exchanged at NPR 89.45 for buying and NPR 89.84 for selling. The Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 99.94 and sold at NPR 100.39. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of NPR 106.78 and a selling rate of NPR 107.25.

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.22 and the selling rate is NPR 9.26. One Chinese yuan is being bought at NPR 19.11 and sold at NPR 19.20. Similarly, the Saudi riyal is being bought at NPR 36.58 and sold at NPR 36.74, while the Qatari riyal is exchanged at NPR 37.65 for buying and NPR 37.81 for selling.

Other regional currencies include the Thai baht, which is bought at NPR 4.22 and sold at NPR 4.23, and the UAE dirham, which has a buying rate of NPR 37.36 and a selling rate of NPR 37.52. The Malaysian ringgit is exchanged at NPR 32.23 for buying and NPR 32.46 for selling. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 9.87 and the selling rate is NPR 9.91.

Additional rates include the Swedish kronor at NPR 14.07 for buying and NPR 14.13 for selling, and the Danish kronor at NPR 21.35 for buying and NPR 21.44 for selling. One Hong Kong dollar is being bought at NPR 17.48 and sold at NPR 17.56.

Among the high-value currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is bought at NPR 448.75 and sold at NPR 450.71. The Bahraini dinar is exchanged at NPR 363.95 for buying and NPR 365.54 for selling, while the Omani rial has a buying rate of NPR 356.38 and a selling rate of NPR 357.93.

Finally, the rate for 100 Indian rupees remains fixed at NPR 160 for both buying and selling.
