A new law college, Maharshi Law College, has been established in Kupandole, Lalitpur. The college is affiliated with Purbanchal University and aims to provide quality legal education at an affordable cost.
Prof Gyanendra Paudel is the chairman of the college, while Associate Professor Jagat Bandhu Parajuli is the campus chief. The college has a team of experienced professors and senior advocates to teach students.
According to Prof Paudel, the college will focus on scientific and practical teaching methods to help students become skilled lawyers and researchers. Admissions are now open for BA and LLB programs in its first year.
Campus Chief Parajuli said the college was founded with the belief that education is a service, not a business. Advocate Amrita Devkota, the college’s advisor, said their goal is to offer high-quality legal education at lower fees compared to other law colleges.
The college management also stated that practice-based teaching methods will be used to prepare students for real-world legal challenges.
