Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized India’s strong bond with Nepal. After meeting with Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Bangkok on Friday, Modi shared his thoughts on social media, writing in Nepali.

He said, "Had a productive meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Bangkok. India values its relationship with Nepal very much."

Modi mentioned that their talks covered several areas of India-Nepal friendship, focusing mainly on energy, connectivity, culture, and digital technology.

“We discussed different aspects of India-Nepal friendship, especially in energy, connectivity, culture, and digital technology. We also talked about the key outcomes of this year’s BIMSTEC Summit, particularly in disaster management and maritime transport,” Modi added.

Prime Minister Oli also shared his thoughts on social media, writing in Hindi. He described the meeting as very meaningful and positive.

"I had a warm meeting with my dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our discussion was very meaningful and positive. I’m happy about this friendly interaction," Oli wrote.

Oli’s tweet was posted at 4:20 PM Nepali time, and Modi shared his post just two minutes later.
