The price of gold has surged sharply in the local market. Compared to Tuesday, the price of one tola of gold increased by NPR 10,400 today.

 

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, the price of one tola of minted gold today is NPR 295,100, while silver remains at NPR 5,920 per tola.

 

On Tuesday, one tola of minted gold was priced at NPR 284,700 and silver at NPR 5,880.

 

Last Sunday, one tola of gold traded at NPR 278,800 and silver at NPR 5,625. On Monday, gold was priced at NPR 282,000 per tola, and silver at NPR 5,810 per tola.

 

According to international media, in today’s global market, one ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,740 and an equivalent amount of silver at USD 95.

 

Economic analysts say that rising global economic uncertainty, inflation, and geopolitical tensions have increased demand for safe-haven investments, driving up the prices of gold and silver.
