Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 143.97 and sold at Rs 144.57.
Among other major currencies, one euro is priced at Rs 167.65 (buying) and Rs 168.35 (selling). The UK pound sterling stands at Rs 193.09 and Rs 193.90, while the Swiss franc is set at Rs 180.02 and Rs 180.77.
Similarly, the Australian dollar is being traded at Rs 96.22 (buying) and Rs 96.62 (selling). The Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 103.80 and Rs 104.23, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 111.90 and Rs 112.37.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.13, while the selling rate is Rs 9.17. One Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 20.62 (buying) and Rs 20.71 (selling). The Saudi riyal stands at Rs 38.39 and Rs 38.55, and the Qatari riyal at Rs 39.39 and Rs 39.55.
According to NRB, the Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.58. The UAE dirham is set at Rs 39.20 (buying) and Rs 39.36 (selling). The Malaysian ringgit is priced at Rs 35.34 and Rs 35.49, while 100 South Korean won is traded at Rs 9.87 and Rs 9.92.
Likewise, the Swedish krona is being traded at Rs 15.61 (buying) and Rs 15.67 (selling), and the Danish krone at Rs 22.44 and Rs 22.53. The Hong Kong dollar stands at Rs 18.47 and Rs 18.55.
Among Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 471.11 (buying) and Rs 473.07 (selling). The Bahraini dinar is priced at Rs 381.91 and Rs 383.50, while the Omani rial stands at Rs 373.96 and Rs 375.52.
The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
NRB has stated that these rates can change at any time if needed. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may be different, and the latest rates can be found on the NRB website.
