Nagdhunga–Naubise Road To Be Shut for 4.5 Hours Daily for A Fortnight

For 15 days from today (May 24), the Nagdhunga–Naubise road section will remain closed for 4.5 hours in the daytime (10.30 am till 3 pm) to speed up road improvement works.    

RSS quoted Rishi Ram Tiwari, chief district officer of Kathmandu, as saying that this decision was taken in coordination with Dhading district administration office. 

The Narayangadh-Mugling Road Project (East) said that the closure is meant to facilitate works along the Nagdhunga-Pipalamod section. 
According to the project, vehicles leaving Kathmandu will have to stop at Nagdhunga while those en route to Kathmandu will stop at Khanikhola. 

During the period, police have requested all concerned to use alternative routes — Dharke-Sitapaila and Tokha-Chhahare-Trishuli Galchhi road.
