22 Injured as Bus Falls from Bridge in Lamahi

A road accident occurred this morning at Kaudiyapul in Lamahi Municipality-1 on the East-West Highway. A passenger bus (Na 8 Kha 7455) traveling from Dadeldhura to Kathmandu skidded off the road and fell from a bridge into a river.

According to Police Inspector Roshan Raj Pandey of the Lamahi Ward Police Office, 22 passengers were injured in the accident. They have been rescued and taken to Lamahi Hospital with the help of the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal Army, and local residents.

There were 38 passengers on the bus in total. Police are investigating the cause of the accident
