Jeep Crash in Rukum West: 1 Dead, 3 Critically Injured

A man died and three others were seriously injured when a private jeep crashed in Sani Bheri rural municipality-10, Rukum West, on Monday afternoon.

Inspector Rishi Pathak from the Rukum West District Police Office said the accident happened near Amalatakuri on the Simli–Timile road. The jeep (license number Lu Pra 02001 Cha 0177) reportedly lost its brakes and fell about 400 meters down a slope.

The man who died was Nar Bahadur Oli (50) of Sani Bheri-10.

The injured are the driver, Lilamani Bhandari (44) and two others — Lila Oli (44) and Durga Oli (50) of Tulsipur sub-metropolis-7 in Dang. They are under treatment at Chaurjahari municipal hospital. Their condition is said to be critical.
