Responding to a writ petition filed by Arjun Sah and Raki Prasad Sah, the Supreme Court has issued an interim order restricting Madhesh Province Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav from making policy decisions with long-term impact.
The order was issued on Tuesday by a single bench of Justice Tek Prasad Dhungana. The court has instructed CM Yadav to refrain from taking decisions that could have lasting consequences for the province.
The case has been given priority, with both parties summoned for the next hearing on November 26 and a written response due by November 27.
