The public holiday announced for Kathmandu and Lalitpur due to continuous rainfall has been cancelled after significant improvement in weather conditions. Both district administration offices issued notices late Sunday, stating that all government offices and public services will resume regular operations from Monday.
The decision follows the Home Ministry’s directive to keep services operational in districts not directly involved in disaster response. The Kathmandu District Administration Office confirmed that all government institutions and local bodies will remain open from 10 AM, urging full attendance of staff and normal service delivery.
