Authorities in Baitadi district are preparing to distribute Gen-Z Protest Injury Identity Cards to individuals injured during the Gen-Z demonstrations held on September 8 and 9.

According to Chief District Officer (CDO) Punya Bikram Paudel, the Ministry of Home Affairs, through the Ministry of Health, has forwarded a list of six injured protesters from the district. “We’ve received the official list and made it public for the purpose of distributing the injury ID cards,” said Paudel.

The six identified individuals are 19-year-old Deepak Saud, 30-year-old Manish Thagunna, 24-year-old Haris Bhul, 20-year-old Basu Pujara, 23-year-old Laxman Bhandari, and 25-year-old Harikrishna Bhatta.

Officials said the cards are being distributed across the country to formally record and assist those injured during the Gen-Z movement, a wave of youth-led protests demanding political reform, accountability, and action against corruption.
