Education Minister Criticizes Obscene Social Media Post

Education Minister Mahavir Pun has criticized a social media post shared last night by Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah, saying it was like “pulling a circus.” He did not mention the mayor directly but asked leaders and activists to be careful about what they post online.

Pun wrote, “Some leaders and activists sometimes speak or write as if they are pulling a circus. That’s okay, but please don’t write or say anything while doing so.”

Mayor Shah deleted the post after it was criticized, but screenshots of it are still being shared on social media.
